NORCROSS, GA, June 12, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Ronald Jack Crymes with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Crymes celebrates many years’ experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Now retired, Mr. Crymes has accrued nearly four decades of experience as a structural steel detailer and draftsman. His most recent position was founder and president of Accurate Detailing Associates in Atlanta from 1984 to 2015. After establishing Accurate Detailing Associates, he worked with Addison Steel and Shuff Steel to establish their Atlanta office in 1987. At the beginning of his career Mr. Crymes learned the detailing business working for Jack Zwecker and Associates in Atlanta. Beginning as a print boy in 1961, then draftsman and then draftsman checker, he continued his success through 1984. He has also been associated with L. N. Ross engineering as draftsman checker and field checker from 1984 to 1987.

A high school math teacher (Mrs. Witcher) inspired Mr. Crymes to become a draftsman. She caught him so many times sketching spaceships in math class, she encouraged him to get some drafting tools.

The rolled steel canopy in front of the library required that Mr. Crymes write a special computer program to find all the points needed for drawing each individual component.

Additionally, he worked on the Atlanta High Museum of Art, multiple power plants throughout the world, high rise office buildings in Atlanta, New York and other cities, multiple Publix stores, Home Depot Stores, and J. C. Pennies warehouses, as well as others. The files of the VA and FHA have over 100 house plans drawn so loans could be made during the time when interest rates went to 26 percent. Mr. Crymes is particularly proud of the contributions he made to the gantry for the spaceflight to the moon and the gantry for the space shuttle.
