Luanda — Angola aims to strengthen cooperation and partnerships with Finnish companies operating in the telecommunications sector, with a view to expanding the network throughout the country.
The intention of strengthening the partnership was expressed today (Tuesday) during a meeting that the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of Angola, José Carvalho da Rocha, gave to the Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Timo Soini.
To this end, the Ministry of Telecommunications intends to invite to the country a business delegation from Finland by the end of this year to support this project of expansion of services throughout the national territory.
The Ministry of Telecommunications also wants Finns to help build the infrastructure of the sector so that more people have access to services.
Angola’s Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, José Carvalho da Rocha, said that the meeting with the Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Timor Soini, will allow companies from both countries to participate in several projects, such as network expansion.
